G n’ S Projects use popular culture and iconic imagery to create a “pop surrealist” narrative on the human experience. The work is at once provocative and playful, combining sex, poetry, and socio-political commentary to challenge the viewer's curiosity of life in general.
By repositioning images and text found through a variety of mediums, a visual banter is sustained. The incorporation of the computer-generated image gives them the flexibility to create unlimited combinations of juxtaposed images; a valuable tool in this dialogue, which is finally realized in acrylic on canvas. This intuitive, tandem approach creates a vivid narrative that leaves the viewer emotionally and intellectually aroused.
G n’ S Projects (Husband and Wife Artist Duo) have enjoyed many exhibitions in Toronto, have been included in group shows internationally, and have had their work acquired by The Bruce Bailey Collection, among others.
