Razavi is a self taught artist residing in her coastal home town in the english countryside. Her exquisite oil paintings on handmade paper illustrate luscious landscape and charming architecture capturing previous moments of human connection.
This series of work is a personal homage to holly’s return home after a decade abroad. Working from photographs taken and collected over the years, she finds herself returning to what is most dear to her and her primary source of inspiration; the British Countryside. In her first solo exhibition, this collection takes us through a journey inspired by everyday life in her home town vistas in Wales, and treasured hidden pockets of London.

In this collection, the artist presents interiors of English historic homes, expressing the grandeur of these residences while also carrying echoes of the intimate warmth created in her childhood home by her mother. A contrasting colour palette captures the essence of these grand spaces, infusing them with a sense of nostalgia and familiarity. The aim, is to evoke a serene atmosphere, inviting viewers into a world where history and personal memory blend seamlessly. This series translates the elegance of stately interiors into intimate, evocative scenes that resonate on a deeply personal level.
