Someone that I have been loving lately is illustration and print artist Ashley Goldberg. Her work is playful and fun….and perfect for a kids room. You can find her on Pinterest or Etsy! Enjoy.

I came across some fantastic branding. Here’s a honey collection, Honey Hunter who had designers from Fresh Chicken Agency create a new look for their product.
I am not normally a huge fan of plants within a home or business setting but this quaint Montreal cafe, Olive et Gourmando did it right. From the window boxes to their front entrance display the greenery not only looked beautiful but smelled great too.

I am pretty excited about the new Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Constructed in an old textiles factory, I know where I am staying next time I’m in NYC!
Here’s a great space that was extended to mesh an historic railway house with a modern addition. Both the inside and outside has achieved a beautiful balance while contrast still remains between the hardness of the steel, concrete and glass across waving grass, shells and wood. Check out more here!

I’ve come across an interior which plays with traditional and modern characteristics through the application of classic graphics. London designers from Paul Crofts Studio have designed the space in which gingham design, hand-drawn by London based illustrator Katharine Gorham, has been printed and manipulated through out different surfaces within the space. La Petite Bretagne Creperie has the feel of a domestic kitchen with a slight contemporary twist.

The “Lucy” and “Ethel” chairs that we are looking to use for an upcoming project from Bend! Not only are they graphic and visually appealing but they have a very comfortable seat and a cushion option for extra padding.

I came across some great company branding, Reynolds and Reyner has redesigned the identity of a small Finnish paint company called Waldo Trommler Paints. The end product creates a new look which definitely stands out on the shelf compared to its competitors. Their design not only stands out because of the bold graphics but the idea behind the brand is to create a paint manufacturer which is ” – an assistant, is always ready to help, suggest and defend from the hassles and problems. ”

We’ve decided to branch out from our usual building materials and take a stab at creating a neon light sign of our clients logo. After researching and finding and abundant amount of your typical Las Vegas signs I started looking into more alternative ways of using neon tube lighting. I came across the artist Keith Lemley who’s created some pretty cool art installations using florescent and neon lights.
